Mr Pierre Vallon gets
the Award of the City of Ligueil The “Grand Opening ” of the VIIth exhibition of painting of Ligueil, organised by the Association of local arts, gathered the artists exhibitors and the local personalities. The mayor of Ligueil, Mr Raymond express his emotion in front of the diversity of displayed paintings and underlined: «the artist gives us present of a happiness which, without it, would have lasted only one instant». This happiness was transmitted to the visitors thanks to the artists come from all of horizons: faithful exhibitors, but also the new, with their own style and their talent. So therefore, the Art Show is opened to the public and each could point out the last painting of Mme Valen de Saint Jean, guest of honour, of her paintings of big sensitivity and and especially of poem. And then for all the others, and the happy prevailing among whom Mr Pierre Vallon, laureate of the Grand prix of the city of Ligueil for his work «The mill of the wash house in Veigné» works who will be hung from now on in one of the walls of the city council of Ligueil.
