The Credit Lyonnais Bank (35, blvd Blossac) receives for its part till the beginning of May, around thirty paintings of Pierre Vallon. Too modest, this artist who demonstrated his interest for painting from the age of 10 years, could define itself a style across several stages.
It was the oil painting and the watercolour painting after WW2, then pastel about which he starts to learn next to Pierre Petit. Lately, he got the first prize of pastel in C.E.A. of Mounts (Loire Valley).
The very good job which he fulfils – especially since he is retired – in its studio of Ports-sur-Vienne would deserve to be more known. «A personal technical (the pastel with the palette knife) and its best love of Nature they reflect in its paintings the truth and the space over whom want to stay».
