Success of the second
exhibition of painting
of Nouâtre

The exhibition of painting introduced this weekend in Nouâtre was a true success. The paintings of a dozen artists having become famous during the day «Painter on the street» were indeed visible and appreciated, both by public and by jury made responsible for awarding rewards. It is Mr Vallon, of Ports-sur-Vienne, who got the Prize of the Town Council for his landscape nouâtrais. Mr Fouret, from Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, accepting the Prize of the Committee of Animation; Mr Ph. Massé, from Sainte-Maure, a bronze medal for its drawings in the feather; Mrs Pohin and MM. Bertin-Huillier, Hardion, Devant, Herbassier and Huron being also distinguished for their paintings.
